Paypal: Easier Way to Collect Dues?

Due to the popularity of the internet payment site Palpal (http://www.paypal.com/), I wonder if there would be any benefit to setting Greencastle Aeroclub up to received payment for dues (and other items) online. I myself would take advantage of the system, and it is also possible for the club to send out electronic invoices; saving money on postage, mailing materials, and time.

Excellent suggestion J.R., I would suggest bringing this up during the weekly BOD meetings. I would surely use this method of payment myself considering the price of a stamp nowdays. Question, what is the Paypal commission (Percentage)? Also, I believe there are additional "business account" fees now if the account owner conducts more than $500.00 worth of transactions a month. GC member fees would surpass this pretty easily. Are there any other e-pay systems that have lower fees/commissions?

Here is the pricing breakdown as far as I could tell from their website:
https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_email-payment-pricing-outside

If paying by credit card:
for <$3,000/mon, its 2.9% + $0.30

<$10,000/mon, its 2.5% + $0.30

Sounds like a good idea to me. I'm sure the merchant fees for our credit card processing are 2% or so, so probably not much different. It would be a nice option for those of us who don't live in the area.
